Glossybox Review.

I absolutely love beauty subscription services.  I have been a subscriber of Birchbox for about two years now, and I have tried the Beauty Army subscription as well.  I heard good things about Glossybox from a bunch of people, so I decided to give it a whirl.

Look at the cute box!

Included in the June box were a few things that I know I'll actually use.  The Tarte lipstick is great.  They have such cute packaging on their products and it's super moisturizing.  I also know that I'll put the Philip B. deep-conditioner to good use when I'm traveling for work, I love collecting travel sized items to use for that.  I'm still figuring out the c.Booth mist thing, I might be using it wrong, but I don't know if it is as refreshing as the label is making it out to be.  And, as always, who doesn't love a full size nail polish?

The only thing I did not particularly love was the Oscar de la Renta perfume samples.  There were 6, and the scents were just not my style.  Plus, one of the scents broke inside the bag, so when I opened up the box the whole thing smelled like that perfume.  However, it definitely lasts long.  I opened this up yesterday afternoon, and when I walked into the living room this morning for breakfast I could still smell it.  So props to them for that, ha.

I ultimately decided to not continue with the subscription, and there are a couple of reasons why:

1.) There was a huge mix-up with the box this month that prevented it from being delivered on time.  I know that things happen, but I was not impressed that subscribers didn't receive their June box until the first week of July.

2.) It's a little too expensive.  At $21 a month, you get what you pay for.  I loved the products, but at this point in my life I don't think I can shell out that much for a service like this.

I may not be buying another Glossybox subscription, but I LOVED the products they sent me and I'm hoping that maybe in the future I can afford to add this back to my list.
