Welcome, 2014!

  Okay, folks! 2014 has arrived! This past year has been amazing. I graduated from college, started my first job, traveled all over the place, and figured out a lot about myself. I find that year after year I become more confident in my abilities and 2013 was no different. I think I have found a really good. I've  found a pretty good little vibe for myself and I can't wait to see what 2014 brings!

Cold Days at Work.

So, there's been a definite cold front heading through Colorado as well as the rest of the country. I have had to change at work the past week so I can bundle up, which means that this week I've had to sacrifice cute for warm. Sad. :( I guess practicality should win most of the time. Regardless, today I got to grab a photo of my outfit once I got home. I can't wait for warmer temps later this week! Woo!

It's December tomorrow, folks! Oh my gosh! I can't believe it's already the end of the year.  I love this season, Christmas is my favorite holiday and I love getting to see everyone I love.

 I wore this last week at work when I had to give a presentation. I love the pop of color the scarf gives without it being too loud.

My favorite color.

My favorite color has been purple for as long as I can remember.  Probably because purple is the color of royalty and I've always thought I have been destined to marry Prince Harry. Haha, not happening.  Naturally, I loved this dress when I got it for Christmas last year.

I love wearing dresses and skirts to work, so as the seasons change I've been having to get more creative with the types of things I wear so I stay warm.  Basically, tights with everything. It also makes for a nice wardrobe change because it takes no time at all to throw on a dress. Woo!

It's almost Friday! Yay!

Ruffles and Pink.

I'm having a hard time believing how nice it has been in Colorado the past few days!  I didn't even need a jacket when I was outside this morning.  Tomorrow is supposed to be the first real snow of the season, so hopefully I can bust out some proper boots and big jackets in the next week or so.  

As per usual, I'm wearing my riding boots.  This will become a regular Fall/Winter thing, so prepare yourselves. :)
